    When you sound out the word 5, you hear the long /i/ sound in the middle, like in the word ice cream.

    The number 5 is spelled F-I-V-E: five.

  • How many do you count?

    Don't forget to use a number line to help you count. Try drawing your own on paper! Touch each number as you count up.

    Each number should have a picture of fingers, a die and tally marks. Assign 3 pictures to each number.
